Hyperbaric Medicine
Dr Stephen Heap, emergency medicine trainee and hyperbaric doctor, will give attendees an introduction to the provision of hyperbaric medicine in the UK, covering the emergency assessment and initial management of decompression illness or gas emboli with referral to hyperbaric specialists.

Pre-Hospital Amputation
Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) Fellow and emergency medicine ST4, Dr Rachel Edwards, will deliver a session that aims to be an introduction and comprehensive overview of this rare pre-hospital surgical procedure, including the when, why and how.

Target Audience
Any person from any background that delivers pre-hospital emergency care at any level, from first aiders though to advanced practitioners would benefit from the lecture content.
